Valerie Vogt was born in Wichita, Kansas, in 1952. She learned the meaning of travel at a
young age. In the first 10 years of her life, she had moved ten times. From Kansas to Alaska
and from the east coast to the west coast, her life as the daughter of a Special Agent was spent
on or close to key military bases around the world. Dating when your father carried a shoulder
weapon was not always easy.

Her program consisted of stories of humor, patriotism, and poignant memories of the past. The
values and standards of that time are salted into hilarious anecdotes of life growing up in the
50’s with one of the country’s best Special Agents as a father.
