​The primary Community Outreach function of the Metropolitan Houston Chapter is the annual awarding of a
one time scholarship to an outstanding high school student who is related to a member of our chapter. This
year the scholarship recipient is Heidi Webking. She is the grandaughter of Mrs. Jan Allison. To learn more

We were again entertained by the story telling of Bob Scott. He related an interesting tale of Gulf Oil's
business dealings in Mexico in the early 1900's. We didn't miss recording Bob's remarks this month. Check

We were entertained by Grandmas' Boyfriends, a Barbershop Quartet with a repertoire of 45 songs ranging
from Christmas and Valentines to Patriotic or Religious and, of course, the old standards like Lida Rose. The
